PC Tournament
Register for practice time and the upcoming Age of Empires III tournament (we have the Native American and Asian Dynasties expansions!). Practice time is available on 6/28, 7/12, 7/19 at a discounted rate of $3/hr per person. The tournament is on 7/26 and is $20 per person. A minimum of 10 participants are required for each qualifying event. Registration is required, if you are under 18 you will need to have a parent with you to register.

The home and small business computer support company, Lion Technologies, unveils the Ltek Gaming Center; a new entertainment venture for teenagers, young adults and computer lovers looking for technology oriented and imaginative leisure time activity. Ltek Gaming focuses on PC and console gaming with the latest and most advanced names in the business. The venture has been running BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) events since January 2005 at the Red Brick Bakery during evening hours. Starting in June we will be expanding our game selection, hardware inventory, and participation in gaming industry events.

Ltek has been selected to be an official local tournament site by the World Cyber Games (WCG), a firm that organizes global game competitions between gaming enthusiasts from more than 60 countries. Ltek will be hosting two StarCraft World Cyber Games tournament events in June at its Center located at 55 North Main Street in Red Lion, PA. The first will be June 10th and the second will be held on June 24th. Set up for both will begin at 7:00pm and gaming will begin at 8:00pm. There is a $20 cost per person. Because there is limited seating Ltek requires gamers to call (717-246-3602) or signup online through www.igames.org for reservations. Spectators are welcome.

These events will count for the WCG 2005 USA Championship. The Championship is divided into the Online Preliminary and the Local & Regional Preliminary. The qualifiers from the preliminary tournaments will go on to the USA Final in New York City. Gamers who qualify at the USA Final will go on to WCG 2005 Grand Final in Singapore this November as representatives of the USA. There are prizes at all levels of the event.

You can register for the Online Preliminary at the WCG USA website. You must be a member of the WCG website to register for the online preliminary. The registration process is as follows:

1. Login to the WCG website (www.us.worldcybergames.com) 2. Click the registration button. 3. Enter the participant’s information. 4. Select the game event that you wish to participate in (StarCraft: Broodwar at Ltek Gaming Center!). 5. Click submit

The Ltek Gaming Center, a new entertainment venture for teenagers, young adults and computer lovers looking for technology oriented and imaginative leisure time, announced its July schedule today. Ltek Gaming focuses on PC and console gaming with the latest and most advanced names in the business.

Ltek is working in partnership with, iGames’, an Internet based company founded in 1996 to promote and develop the growth of the game center industry. To celebrate the June 21 release of Battlefield 2™, the sequel to EA’s award winning Battlefield 1942™, iGames is organizing a five-month long program of events that will take place this summer and fall at nearly 300 game centers. Ltek Gaming is one of those centers.

Ltek will kick off the events on July 2 at the WANdemonium! V Party. The showcase will take place July 11-24 at 275+ game centers, and set the stage for an on-line and in-center ladder competition, July 25-Oct 23, ending with a final national championship. Presented by Intel, and sponsored by NVIDIA and Microsoft, this program will include thousands of player prizes. The total prize pool value is estimated at more than $20,000!

• 7/2/05 - WANDemonium - All night nationwide network gaming party. Game will be Battlefield2. Points will be awarded to participants who can then participate in tournaments and win prizes
• 7/8/05 and 7/15/05 - Showcase events with StarCraft, Halo and featuring Battlefield2.
• 7/22/05 and 7/29/05 - Regular LAN party with StarCraft, Halo, Battlefield2 and other games.
• 7/18/2005 to 10/23/2005 - Battlefield2 Tournament, weekly events where participants accumulate points to win prizes.
